Kitchen Update

This kitchen nearly a true square with five doorways! On a strict budget a full to the studs remodel was not possible. By relocating the door to a storage room that door location was utilized for built a in refrigerator. A peninsula was created that added valuable workspace. The peninsula also houses the dishwasher as locating it adjacent to the sink was not possible based on keeping the original cabinets along that wall. Open shelves were utilized for decor and frequently used items. A pot rack over the peninsula also saved valuable cabinet storage. Fresh paint two tone paint on the cabinets and white solid surface countertops brought the space together. The butter yellow on the walls brings out the warmth of the marble backsplash.
