The tiny powder room in this late mid-century split level had a vanity that barely allowed the homeowners to close the door. By utilizing shallow, wall-hung sink, the half bath feels more spacious. The sink choice incorporates a small counter area and the wall faucet keeps all of the sink surface open. Beautiful multi-tone green textured tile is laid in a modified cross hatch pattern for added interest. The existing acoustical ceiling tile did not add any sophistication to the space and was replaced with a walnut stained slat ceiling. Walls were painted in a medium green complementing the tile. The space was finished with a backlight round wooded framed mirror that I designed. Additional Edison pendants were added in the corner. Slate flooring was existing.
